In addition to my off-skew paranormal romances, I’ve started a new series–in short fiction only–set in the Old West. Despite the word “naked” in the second blurb, these aren’t erotica. However, they are off-kilter and a little strange.
You probably should read them in order. “Knowing Jack” comes first.
Roz knows that men distrust women in any profession. But when the men from Wells Fargo need a photograph of the man who tried to rob their stage coach, they had no one to ask but Roz. She’ll photograph the prisoner, but only on her terms—and her terms are unique, indeed. Available on Kindle, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, and in other ebookstores.
Roz trusts her husband. So when she catches him in her photography studio with a naked young woman, she knows there’s more here than meets the eye. Turns out the young woman wants to pose for “artistic photographs”—the euphemism given to naked daguerreotypes sold to soldiers on the western frontier. The young woman isn’t the usual naked photograph type. So what’s she up to? Available on Kindle, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, and in other e-bookstores.
Curious…where did you/Dean find the cover image for the second story? I’m looking for something similar for one of mine. 🙂
It’s from a historic photograph taken in the 1860s. No one has since claimed the image so we could use it. Kinda neat, huh?
