Sourcebooks will reissue Utterly Charming in October.  Utterly Charming won RT Book Review’s Choice Award when it first came out.  The new cover is spectacular, I think.

And if you want to read the short story that started it all, “The Strangeness of the Day,”  you can find it under my real name, Kristine Kathryn Rusch, as an e-story on Kindle, Smashwords, Barnes & Noble, and in other e-bookstores.  I wrote the story, then my husband said, “This should be a novel.”  I took his advice–and Kristine Grayson was born.

The Strangeness of the Day

Here’s the short blurb on “The Strangeness of the Day.”  I’ll post Utterly Charming’s blurb as soon as I have it.

Nora Barr’s struggling law practice gets a boost when she meets a tall, dark, and handsome stranger who has a snake wrapped around his arm and a short sidekick with a mean mouth. The stranger claims he’s got custody of Sleeping Beauty, and he needs Nora’s help to protect her. Against her better judgment, Nora helps—and her life changes forever.
